The Pebble Hills Spartans put on a dominating 45-28 performance against the Odessa Permian Panthers Friday afternoon at the Socorro Athletic Complex to win a Bi-District Title
From the very start the Spartans showed that they intended to prove that were not the same team that the Panthers had scrimmaged in the preseason and weren’t gonna be a push over.

On the opening kickoff, Jalile Bost returned it 75 yards putting the Spartans in scoring position. A couple of plays later Gael Ochoa would score on a 2yd TD run. Then with 1:45 left in the quarter, Ochoa would throw a TD pass to Marcus Torres giving the Spartans a 14-0 lead.
It wasn’t until 8:39 in the 2nd quarter that The Panthers got on the board when Justice Lara scored on a 2yd TD run. But it would only take Pebble Hills over a minute and a half to answer as Sam Chacon would score on a 52 yard TD reception.
Lara would score again for Permian but just like before, Pebble Hills would respond with a FG to give them a 24-14 lead a halftime.
Pebble Hills would continue their dominate performance as they would score 14 points in the third quarter and when the Panthers tried to make a comeback in the fourth by scoring 14 points of their own, Jacob Ledesma iced the game for the Spartans by scoring on a 68 yd TD run and sent the Mighty Mojo and their fans back to Odessa in disbelief that their team was dominated in epic fashion by Pebble Hills
