FC Juarez Beats El Paso Locomotive FC 3-0 in the Derby Paso Del Norte

The FC Juarez Bravos beat the El Paso Locomotive FC 3-0 in the Derby Paso Del Norte Wednesday night at Southwest University Park.

In front of a crowd of 8,372 which the second largest in Locomotives history, the Locos and Bravos played in a international friendly that was eagerly anticipated and was a fun filled event.

Instead of offensive in the first half, the fans were treated to a defensive clinic as both team couldn’t find the back of the net but they did have some opportunities to score. The score after the first was 0-0.

Everything changed after the break for the Bravos as Aitor Garcia scored their first goal of the match in the second minute of the second half and they would an another two goals in the 67th minute by Angel Zapatista and the 77th minute of the match by Amaury Escoto giving the Bravos the 3-0 win.

El Paso will now go on the road for their next league match on Saturday as they take on Las Vegas Nights FC.
