On Thursday night from the Socorro Student Activities Complex the Odessa Bronchos and the Americas Trailblazers played an amazing game that came down to the wire.
After Odessa took a 13-0 lead at halftime, Americas would come back in the second half and take a 20-19 lead late in the fourth quarter but the Bronchos were able to get themselves in field goal range and got a game winning field goal by Aidric Rivera with no time left on the clock and the 22-20 victory.
For Americas, WR Abidel Rincon had two touchdowns including a second half opening kickoff return for a touchdown. The Americas defense played good, forcing two turnovers and two turnovers on downs.
