Locos Drop Match to San Antonio 2-1

The defending USL Champions San Antonio FC came back to beat the El Paso Locomotive FC 2-1 Wednesday night at Southwest University Park.

El Paso got on the board first when Eric Calvillo scored on a penalty kick in the 29th minute of the match. The Locos would take the 1-0 lead into halftime.

Things turned around in the second half when San Antonio would score two unanswered goals by Rida Zouhir in the span of four minutes. The first goal came in the 58th minute and the second and eventual game winning goal in the 62nd minute.

With the loss El Paso is now 9-5-4 with 31 points and is 3rd place in the West. For their next game they will host Rio Grande Valley FC on Saturday night at Southwest University Park at 7:30 pm
