Locos get 2-2 Draw with San Antonio FC

The El Paso Locomotive FC extended their undefeated game streak to 10 as they played to a 2-2 draw against San Antonio FC on Saturday night.

San Antonio got on the board quickly as Mitchell Taintor scored in the 4th minute of the match, but El Paso would respond seven minutes later when Aaron Gomez scored his first goal of the season off an assist from Erik McCue.

The game would stayed tied until the 60th minute of the second half when Samuel Adeniran would give San Antonio a 2-1 lead.

It would take the Locos eighteen minutes to tie up the game for good as Lucho Solignac scored in the 78th minute off an assist from Miles Lions. After that, both teams would fail to score leading to the 2-2 draw.

With the draw, El Paso gets a point and is now 8-3-2 with 26 points for the season. They remain in second place in the West and their seven game winning streak comes to an end.

For their next game, The Locos will be back in El Paso as they host the Tampa Bay Rowdies Wednesday night at 7 pm at Southwest University Park.
