Houston Texas: As excited as this El Paso girl was to see Khalid in his first stadium tour, it definitely had a different vibe than the shows I’ve seen at home.
The crowd was so excited when he came out with the lights on and ran across the stadium floor. He opened with Young Dumb and Broke and you could hear fans of all ages sing along.
Although it didn’t have the intimate feel of an El Paso show, one of our favorite hometown heroes made a point to acknowledge fans flashing him a “915” from their phones.
He dedicated his hit Saved to his fellow El Pasoans in attendance. His set list was about 35 minutes long but after all, he is opening for Ed Sheeran’s summer stadium tour.
Overall, great songs and Khalid looked like he was having a great time here in Houston
