Lucho Solignac Becomes Locos All-Time Leading Goal Scorer in 2-0 Win over Riverhounds SC

The El Paso Locomotive FC once again got a shutout win this time over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC Saturday night at Southwest University Park and during the match Forward Lucho Solignac would become El Paso’s all-time leading goal scorer.

El Paso got on the board in the 39th minute of the first half when Peter Petronius right footed a shot from the centre of the box.

In the second half, Solignac would take advantage of a goalkeeping error to score in front of an open net at the 69 minute to not only give the Locomotive FC a 2-0 lead but also become the new all-time leading scorer. Lucho now has 30 goals in a Locos uniform.

Benny Diaz played another great game and got another clean sheet.

With the win El Paso earns three points and is now 3-3-1 with 10 points. For their next match they will travel to take on San Diego Loyal SC on Saturday April 29 with kickoff being at 8 p.m. MT at Torero Stadium.
