Locos Shutout Louisville City 3-0 to Win 1st Match of the Year

The El Paso Locomotive FC won their first match of the season as they shutout Louisville City FC 3-0 Saturday afternoon at Lynn Family Stadium.

El Paso got on the scoreboard in the 19th minute when Marc Navarro scored a goal on a left footed shot from the outside box.

Then right before the first half ended Ricardo Zaharias would score in the 45th minute to give the Locos a 2-0 lead at the half.

In the second half El Paso would continue to play outstanding defense and they would add another goal in the 57th minute by Petar Petrovic that would give the Locos a 3-0 victory and their first win of the season.

With the win El Paso is now 1-3 and they earn three points. The Locos will remain on the road for their next match as they take on FC Tusla on Friday night with the kickoff being at 7 p.m.
