The Colorado Switchbacks FC scored a goal with 2 minutes left to go in the extra time in the second half to beat the EP Locomotive FC 2-1 Wednesday night at Southwest University Park.
It took the Switchbacks 2 minutes into the match to score their first goal of the night as Jairo Henriquez scored for Colorado. The Locos and the Switchbacks wouldn’t score anymore after that in the first half but in the second half, El Paso came out aggressive and in the 48th minute of the match Ricardo Zacarias scored the first goal of the season for the Locos.

After that, both defenses buckled down and it looked like that match was going to end in a 1-1 draw but as stated before, in the 93rd minute of the match Duke Lacroix scored the goal that gave Colorado the win.
El Paso (0-0, 0 points) will play their third game in seven days as they host Detroit City FC on Saturday March 18 at Southwest University Park. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. and there will be a fireworks show after the match.
