For the third time in program history, the UTEP Miners Women’s Basketball team will be playing in the WNIT as they received an invite on Sunday.
The Miners who are 20-11 will find out who and where they will play on Monday. The last time the Miners were in the WNIT was in 2016 in which they reached the quarterfinals after wining three games in the tournament. In 2014, they made it to the championship game in which they lost to Rutgers
All games throughout the tournament will be hosted by participating schools with first-round games from March 15-17, followed by round two (March 18-21), round three (March 22-24), quarterfinals (March 25-27), semifinals (March 28-29) and the championship on Saturday, April 1 at 3:30 p.m. MT on CBS Sports Network.
