Chapin Beats Parkland to Advance to Sweet 16, Riverside and Immanuel Christian’s Incredible Seasons End

The Chapin Huskies are advancing to the UIL Class 5A Boys Basketball Sweet 16 for third straight year as they beat the Parkland Matadors 56-53 in the regional quarterfinal round Tuesday night at the Don Haskins Center.

With the win the Huskies will now face Fort Worth Wyatt in the Class 5A Region I semifinal round of the state playoffs on Friday in Wichita Falls.

In Andrews Texas, the Riverside Rangers season came to an end as they lost to the Canyon Randall Raiders 101-51 in the Class 4A regional quarterfinal.

In Fort Worth Texas, Immanuel Christian lost the TCAF State Championship game to Chisholm Trail Academy 65-62.
