The Eastwood Troopers scored on their 1st play from scrimmage on a 75 yd td pass from Evan Minjarez to Curtis Murillo and they never looked back as they beat the Socorro Bulldogs 59-7 Thursday Night at the SAC.
The defense would score the next touchdown for Eastwood as Isaiah Cereceres had a pick six and not even 5 minutes into the game, Socorro was down 14-0.

Eastwood would continue to dominate on both sides of the field as they would go on to have a 45-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, they would add an additional 14 points to their lead.
The only bright spot for Socorro is that they would score a touchdown on the final play of the game to avoid their 5 straight shut out in a row.
With the 59-7 win, Eastwood is now 4-1 in district play and will host the Montwood Rams next Friday. Socorro remains winless and will face El Dorado next.
