Canutillo wraped-up non district play with a victory over Parkland 35 – 7 on Friday night as the Eagles improve to 3-2 on the season.
After an early touchdown conceded late in the 1st quarter, both Eagles offense and defense made numerous plays in critical points of the game.

“They turned it on the whole game, I don’t know how many times they held them on 4th down,” Canutillo head coach Scott Brooks said. “They just did a great job.”
Despite a few key players out for the Eagles, its offense found the endzone through the air and ground, displaying a different offensive attack. With Canutillo entering a bye week Brooks explained the importance of rest and recovery before district play.
Whereas Parkland have an away game with a 1-4 Ysleta squad.
