Shay Smith and Beau Sparks had a connection stronger than wifi throughout the entire game. They would have 3 touchdown passes to keep a lead the entire game.
Americas had moments of closing the gap, cutting the lead down to 13 and a chance to get the ball back. Jordan Morales and Smith would use the ground attack to extend the lead and burn clock to eliminate a chance at a comeback.
Franklin would win in convincing fashion 56-29. Franklin improves to 3-1 (2-0) while the Trailblazers fall to 1-3 (1-1). Franklin hosts Socorro next week. Americas faces Eastlake.
