Eastwood Impresses as they Beat Las Cruces 63-35

The Eastwood Troopers put on an offensive display as they routed the visiting Las Cruces Bulldogs 63-35 Friday night at Trooper Stadium.

Eastwood put up 28 points and over 200 of offense in the first 16 minutes of the game and never looked back.

Eastwood scored seven touchdowns in the first half and five of those came on play of 20 yards or more.

The Troopers lead 49-13 at Halftime and in the second half they scored another 14 points. Las Cruces would try to mound a comeback but it was a little to late.

With the win, Troopers are now 1-1 and head off to face the top team in the city the Pebble Hills Spartans at the Socorro Athletic Complex next Friday.
