Locomotive FC Dominates Red Bulls II 5-0

The El Paso Locomotive FC had a dominating performance on Saturday night as they beat the New York Red Bulls II 5-0 at Southwest University Park.

The Locos got on the board quickly as Christiano Francios scored the first goal of the night just four minutes into the match. Eight minutes later Eric Calvillo would score a goal in the 12 minute of the match. Then seven minutes after that, Nick Hinds would score in the 19th minute.

So in the first nineteen minutes, the Locos had scored three goals much to the delight of the fans in attendance at Southwest University Park.

But the Locos weren’t done as they got another goal from Eric Calvillo in the 36th minute giving them a 4-0 lead at halftime.

After the half, the Locos continued to dominate as Aaron Gomez scored a goal in the 74th minute of the match and that’s how the Locomotive FC beat the New York Red Bulls II 5-0.

El Paso Goalkeeper Evan Newton had four saves in the match and got his sixth clean sheet of the season.

With the win the Locos are undefeated in their last seven matches, they get the three points and now have a record of 8-6-4 with 28 points. For their next match they will travel to take on Rio Grande Valley FC Kickoff from H-E-B Park in Edinburg, Texas is set for 6:30 p.m. MT and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
