Locomotive FC gets 2-2 Draw with Orange County SC

After trailing 1-0, the El Paso Locomotive FC scored 2 goals in the second half and got a draw against the defending USL Champions Orange County SC at Championship Soccer Stadium on Saturday night.

Orange County got the 1-0 lead in the 30th minute when Milan Iloski right footed a shot that got a lucky bounce that got past Evan Newton.

The Locos wouldn’t get on the board until the 52nd minute of second half when Lucho Solignac scored his 6th goal of the season as he right footed the shot from the center of goal that went in on the bottom left corner. Arron Gomez assisted with the goal.

El Paso would take the lead in the 70 minute when Diego Luna scored a goal by taking a right footed shot from the center of the box. But just nine minutes later, Orange County would tie up the match as Erick Torres left footed a from the right side of the box.

For the rest of the match both defenses played good and the match would end up in a 2-2 draw.

With the draw, the Locos get a point and are now 5-6-2 with 17 points. They will stay on the road as they take on Las Vegas Lights FC on Friday night. Kickoff is at 8 pm.
