Locos Dominate LA Galaxy II 4-0 to Win Third Match in a Row

The El Paso Locomotive FC won their third match in a row as they dominated the LA Galaxy II 4-0 Saturday Night at Southwest University Park.

El Paso started the domination as they got on the scoreboard in the 16th minute when Eric Calvillo scored a goal after an assist from Aaron Gomez.

Then in the 32nd minute the Locos got a goal when LA Galaxy’s Liam Doyle passed the ball to his own goalkeeper that got past him thanks to Lucho Solignac being in front of him.

El Paso would score again in the 39th minute when Aaron Gomez stole the ball and passed it to Diego Luna who scored his third goal of the season.

The Locomotive FC would then add another goal in the 63rd minute when Lucho Solignac would score his sixth goal of the year which is also his sixth goal in the last four games.

El Paso goalkeeper Evan Newton had a tremendous game as he had his second clean sheet of the season.

The Locomotive FC have won three matches in a week, which is an incredible feat considering their slow start to the season.

With the win the Locos get the three points and now are 4-5-1, with 13 points. The will next play on Saturday when they travel to play the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Kickoff is at 5 pm.
