Locomotive FC Comes Back to Beat Loudoun United FC 3-1

After trailing 1-0 at halftime, the El Paso Locomotive FC scored three unanswered goals in the second half and beat Loudoun United FC 3-1 at Segra Field on Saturday afternoon.

Loudoun got on the board first after Sami Guediri converted on a penalty kick in the 28th minute with a left footed shot to the bottom of the left corner. The reason for the penalty kick was that Matt Bahner got a yellow card for a hand ball.

Loudoun would have the 1-0 lead at halftime but the Locos would make adjustments. Coach John Hutchinson would make four substitutions in the half that paid dividends for the Locos.

Lucho Solignac would score his second goal of the season and tie up the game when he would convert on a penalty kick in the 67th minute.

Diego Luna would give El Paso the lead in the 81st minute when he scored an amazing left footed goal from the center of the box. Lucho would then cement the victory for the Locos when he scored his second goal of the match in 5th minute of extra time.

With the win El Paso gets the 3 points and is now 2-5-1. They will next play on Wednesday night as they host FC Tulsa at Southwest University Park on Star Wars night. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
