On Tuesday evening, the Chapin Huskies and the Americas Trailblazers Boys basketball teams both won in the Texas UIL Regional Quaterfinals Playoffs.
Chapin beat Amarillo Palo Duro 76-56 and Americas beat Keller Central 44-38. It will mark the second season in a row that both teams are headed to the semifinals.
TJ Lewis and Bryson Goldsmith lead the Huskies with 20 points in the win over the Dons.
For the Trailblazers’ win it was Chris Nevarez that led the team with 18 points. Jordan Hernandez added 12 points in the playoff victory.
