EL PASO, Texas. – UTEP soccer has announced a five-game slate of spring contests to prepare for the upcoming fall season.
The spring schedule gets underway on Feb. 19 at Eastern New Mexico at a time to be announced.
Following the meeting with the Greyhounds, the Miners hit the road again on March 5 for a 7 p.m. start time at New Mexico State, which went 9-11 a season ago, including a 5-5 mark in WAC play.
On March 10, UTEP hosts the El Paso Locomotive Academy U-14 boys team at 7:30 p.m. at University Field.
After a trip to Albuquerque to meet up with New Mexico on March 26 at 3 p.m., the schedule concludes at home against the El Paso Cosmos FC U-14 boys team on April 7 at 7:45 p.m.
“Spring is a great opportunity for us to iron out some of our inconsistencies,” UTEP Head Coach Kathryn Balogun. “This schedule allows us some great opportunities against a wide variety of different teams with different strengths.”
