Chapin Dominates Bel Air 69-27

District play began Friday night for both Chapin and Bel Air. With only four teams in the division, district started late. Chapin came in with a 4-game winning streak and Bel Air had lost the last three games.

This was an offensive battle. The final score proved that the offense ruled the night with a total of 96 points scored.

Jacob Williamson for Chapin had one touchdown and was the workhorse for Chapin. If Chapin needed a few yards, Jacob was there to meet their needs. He truly a man among boys. Anthony Rivera for Chapin played both sides of the ball and he had 3 interceptions on the night and 4 touchdowns. Anthony had three offensive touchdowns and one defensive touchdown.

Bel Air had a touch night on the offensive side of the ball. 6 turnovers which includes three interceptions, fumbles snaps and bad snaps put Bel Air in a hole they could not get out of. They had a few bight spots and scored 27 points including a 60 pass to Adam Gomez for a td, but the night belonged to Chapin.

The final score was Chapin 69 and Bel Air 27. It does not get easier for Bel Air as they play 6 – 2 Del Valle and Chapin plays 3 – 5 El Dorado.
