Pebble Hills Dominates Americas 57-20

In a 1-6A matchup that featured both teams with a 3-1 District record, it was the Pebble Hills Spartans that would improve to 4-1 after a dominating win over the Americas Trailblazers.

At first it looked like it was going to be a game in which both team would be exchanging touchdowns. And that’s exactly what happened early in the game when both teams scored on their opening drives.

On their second drive, Americas was driving and was deep in Pebble Hills territory when they ran the Wildcat formation and they threw an interception that shifted all the momentum in the Spartans favor.

Not only would they score a touchdown on the drive after they got the interception, the Spartans would end up scoring 50 unanswered points before the Trailblazers would get back on the board.

The Final score was 57-20 and it makes the Sports 4-1 in district play with two games left to go in the regular season.

Next Week, Pebbles Hills will host Montwood and Americas will travel to take on Franklin.
