Watch Nick Ross and Diego Luna Score Goals that Keep the Locomotive FC Undefeated

The El Paso Locomotive FC stayed undefeated after a dominate performance against Indy Eleven at Southwest University Park on Wednesday night.

The Locomotive won the game 2-0 in front of 5,189 fans. And just like the last match at home, the Locos scored early when Nick Ross scored a goal two minutes into it.

El Paso put on a great defensive display shutting down Indy Eleven. Goalkeeper Logan Ketterer made his return to the Locomotive goal, making two saves to earn the fourth straight clean sheet for El Paso.

For a second straight match Diego Luna scored a goal for the Locomotive. The goal came at the forty nine minute mark and it was his second career goal in his second career start.

Here’s what Head Coach Mark Lowry said post-game:

“Best performance of the season. Completely dominant from start to finish,” stated. “I cannot fault the guys at all in any department. The only thing I think the game deserved was more goals from us. 2-0 maybe flatters [Indy Eleven] a little bit. If we want to be the best – which we want to be, we strive for it every single day – when you dominated like that you need it’s to show 4 or 5-0 at the end of the game. That’s the only frustration I have and it is because we want to be great. We are five unbeaten this season but we’re never content and that’s the attitude we have to have every single day.”

With the victory the Locomotive receive 3 points and remain undefeated. They will host the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Saturday, match time is at 7:30 p.m.
