The El Paso Chihuahuas continued their winning streak as they beat the Albuquerque Isotopes 6-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The Chihuahuas hit three home runs as Robbie Podorsky, Ben Ruta and Nick Tanielu all went deep for El Paso.
Five Chihuahuas pitchers held Albuquerque to five hits Sunday, one day after El Paso held Albuquerque to just three hits. Evan Miller struck out six batters in three innings and has 10 strikeouts in 8.2 innings this season.
With the victory, the Chihuahuas have won five games in a row and their pitching staff has a league-best 2.64 ERA
El Paso will host Albuquerque on Monday night at 6:35 p.m.
